Press Release:Prudential Tower Will Shine Pink in Support of StrongHER
Boston, MA, Wednesday, December 11, 2019--On the night of Wednesday, December 11, the Prudential Tower will shine pink to show support for StrongHER. Part of the annual 31 Nights of Light, this lighting will raise awareness for the organization and celebrate StrongHER’s impact.
StrongHER invites supporters to gather at 5:00 p.m. on December 11 at the Prudential’s Center Court to “flip the switch” and celebrate the strength of young women across New England. The event will feature a table with educational material about the organization, a musical performance by Morgan Dzicek, raffle items to benefit StrongHER and a meet and greet with Patriots Cheerleaders, Jonet Nichelle Miss RI USA and other special guests.
StrongHER is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to empowering girls and young women to have the confidence, resilience and tenacity to achieve their goals, as well as manage stress and overcome obstacles, so that they are able to live their most fulfilled lives.
In our customizable workshops, the girls work through a practice-based curriculum that promotes a strong mind-body connection. We teach and practice positive mindset, words of affirmation, intention setting, yoga, and meditation, and leave the girls with the ability to practice these learned skills in their day-to-day lives. The curriculum was designed to instill mindfulness, positivity, self-confidence and build supportive communities.
Earlier this year StrongHER became a 501(c)(3) non-profit and has had much success to date. StrongHER has partnered with the Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston as well as multiple teams/ schools across Massachusetts.
